Ugh....
Pearl got me sick.
It started Wednesday night, when my throat started to hurt. Like "swallowed a bunch of knifes" hurt. Then the fever, chills, sweats, coughing, nasal drip, hacking up my lungs all followed. So the last few days have been REALLY tough. Mentally and physically.
January 29th: U of my apartment complex twice, then over to the church and back.
Distance: 1 mile
Weather: don't remember - layered more since I was going to be walking.
Feeling: Ran when I could, walked when I should. It was just to get it done.
January 30th: To 25 and back.
Distance: 1 mile
Weather: don't remember
Feeling: Ran the whole time. Felt better than I thought it would. Might have something to do with the fact I overdosed on Day Quil that day - 6.5 grams of acetominophen....
January 31th: Hospital Parking Lot loops
Distance: 1 mile
Weather: 22 degrees, felt like 9
Feeling: Cold out. Lungs hurt. Didn't want to be on call. AT ALL.
So I came home, and somewhat deleriously fell asleep. Didn't actually sleep for that long, but I expect to be back there soon.
February 1st: 25 and back.
Distance: 1 mile
Weather: 40 degrees, clear, sun's setting, feels like 34
Feeling: Not too bad. Breathing is difficult - I feel like I'm only using part of my lungs. But a mile isn't anything anymore.
So it's been a month. And I made it though the first few bumps - being exhausted, being sick, hurting body parts. And it's a habit now and that feels pretty damn good.
Back to the Day Quil!
