Today, I was the overall winner of the 2 mile in the 'Run Like An Animal' in ZooMontana. Not just age group winner. Not just first female winner. Overall winner!
So far, my Montana running stats are as such:
Quality of Life Run (2 mile): 1st in age group, 4th female, 12th overall - 16:08
Stride for Pride (5K): 1st in age group, 2nd female, 5th overall - 26:49
UnitedLuv Glow Run (2 mile): 1st in age group, 13th female, 15th overall - 16:43
Run Like An Animal (2 mile): 1st overall (so obviously won my age group and gender) - 16:16
I kinda like the 2 mile runs. Obviously, at most of these races, the "runners" are running the longer distances (5 mile, half marathon). But I'll enjoy my winning streak as well - all while enjoying my running streak.
