A chronicle of my daily running adventures and a little about my life in between.

Greetings
So I did my Rim run today - 2.5 miles in 24:30 min. What I noticed was that every person I saw on the trail said hello with a smile. Although I probably only ran into 20 or so people, it just made for a nice run.
I started this blog as a fourth year resident in 2009 when we decided to do streak running. Since then, life has taken many turns. I went to Montana as a solo practice OB/Gyn starting in Sept 2009. I came back in January 2010 when my dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and had bypass surgery. I returned to Stony Brook as an attending for a short time and then I started my gyn onc fellowship in July 2010 in Brooklyn for another three years of training. The fellowship ended in June of 2013 and I headed back to Montana in August. I love my job, I love my runs, and I'm enjoying my life. Let's start Year 6!
