Well, that was another good week.

Don't think I'll make the run in Red Lodge tomorrow. Going to work on, and hopefully finish, the chapter. And then go to the running of the sheep on Sunday.

Busy busy busy!

Well, I've been running every morning, usually before the sun comes up, so I've started running around the complex twice most mornings. 

Oh, and last Saturday, I did the Quality of Life 2 mile run. I won my age group (16:06) and was fourth woman overall. I think I can get used to Montana running.

Aug 11-24: 1 mile in the morning, except the 2 mile run on the 17th.

Need to run longer, need to do sit ups.

One Week Down

And really don't have many complaints about it. All in all, pretty awesome. Did my first intraop consult, did my first true surgery, and all is well. Been running in the morning before work and I've enjoyed that. Especially since it's significantly cooler in the morning than the evenings.

Aug 7: 1 mile ATB in the morning
Aug 8: 1 mile ATB in the pitch black - have to change my running routes when I round early
Aug 9: 2 laps of apartment complex - slightly more well lit
Aug 10: 1 mile ATB 

Got my couch today - course, they brought the wrong sectional pieces, but they are letting me keep it until the re-order comes in. Got two chairs for the counter too, so I can actually eat there instead of on my Adarondack chair. Which is in its proper location on the porch now.

Ouch, My Hip

Don't know what I did to it, though I'm assuming some combination of sitting too long, karate and running. Still working really on getting back in shape - need to do more push-ups and sit-ups.

Greetings

So I did my Rim run today - 2.5 miles in 24:30 min. What I noticed was that every person I saw on the trail said hello with a smile. Although I probably only ran into 20 or so people, it just made for a nice run.

August Already?

August 1: 1 mile in the morning before whitewater rafting (fun) and biking down the Beartooth (terrifying - ended up riding the bus)
August 2: 1 mile ATB
August 3: 1 mile ATB after karate

Start work in 36 hours. Still don't have my furniture delivered, but I have ordered a couch, king sized bed, 2 night stands and a dresser, a desk with a red chair and 2 chairs for the counter bar. Still need bookshelves (which I think I'll get from Target), a real office chair, end tables and ottoman, a bigger TV and TV stand, dining room table and chairs, and guest room furniture (except a bed, which will be the one I'm on now). Then I need the accent stuff - pillows, pictures, and the like. But it's coming together...slowly.
