Another week (or at least 5 days) down.

March 19: Around the Apartment Complex early in the morning pre-call
March 20: Lima St Run post-call
March 21: Lima St Run on my parents 40th anniversary
March 22: Around the Apartment Complex after academic day
So, since my friend Kristen has started streaking this year, and she says that today is day 81. Which makes it day 446 for me.
I got the Spring Edition of the USRSA in the mail at my parents this weekend. Seems I'm #232 on the Active Streak Registry. Today, someone asked when I thought I'd stop running. My answer was "when I can't anymore."
I don't see that happening any time soon.
Time for bed. Will be up early tomorrow to run pre-call.

- I started this blog as a fourth year resident in 2009 when we decided to do streak running. Since then, life has taken many turns. I went to Montana as a solo practice OB/Gyn starting in Sept 2009. I came back in January 2010 when my dad was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and had bypass surgery. I returned to Stony Brook as an attending for a short time and then I started my gyn onc fellowship in July 2010 in Brooklyn for another three years of training. The fellowship ended in June of 2013 and I headed back to Montana in August. I love my job, I love my runs, and I'm enjoying my life. Let's start Year 6!
