Half of the Half

I ran half of the Carlsbad Half Marathon with Jerry on Sunday, then got on a plane and headed to Denver. Followed by a run on the treadmill Monday morning, and run through the Downstate hallways on Tuesday after a long OR day, and a run around the block today. It's bed early tonight to catch up on sleep.

Jan 27: 4.1 miles with Jerry (plus 3 mile walk out)
Jan 28: 1 mile on treadmill in Denver
Jan 29: Hallways on floors 3-7 at Downstate

Not Sunny in San Diego

Actually, just downright dreary. Rained yesterday, super foggy today with a light mist in the air.
Jan 25: 1.1 mile run, sub-8 min pace
Jan 26: 1.4 mile run, 8:22 pace and sweaty

Another Call Weekend

This was more fun when l only had limited calls left. Now that we're on every other weekend, much less fun. And I think home call sounded better in theory as well. Anyhow, less than 5 months to go and GOG this week in sunny CA.

Long week. Busy week. Going to end up going to bed early I'm so tired. Loved the Alumni Meet yesterday. Happy to win shot, even if it's almost 2 meters less than what I used to throw.

...of the New Year and of being back on service.  I survived, but let's see what happens when it gets busier next week.

4 years in the books! Next big race - Jerry's 13.1 where I'll jump in and run with him for morale support. And maybe a 10K or two. And the Ithaca Alumni Meet.
