Last week in Austin it was 84 degrees and sunny every day. I heard it was nice here too in Brooklyn, in the 60s.
Not anymore.
Today, I ran in 39 degree sleet.

Austin Adventures
SGO, as expected, was a ton of fun. Minus my complete intoxication on Sunday night...But it was a week of old friends, new friends, awesome food, fabulous education.

Used mapmyrun for the first time on my iPhone. Really helpful for distance. Then it was time to come home.

A Stitch in the Side
But a 3.25 mile run in 29 min. Around Prospect Park makes me fall in love with it all over again.

Orlando and back
March 7: one mile around the hotel
March 8: 10:13 run with Diana (~1.5 miles)
March 9: one mile post rain
March 10: one mile pre-checkout
March 11: Prospect Park lower loop
So another APGO meeting. Had a blast with Diana, Eva, Sara, Lauri, Heather, Mike Lydic and the extended crew. Our presentation went well, we managed to get a few projects started and now I've gotta keep up this productivity!
Oh, and less than two weeks til SGO!

So it's March. Dad's birthday down, Kev and Godfather's birthday down, and now it's time to get ready for Round 2 of conferences! Wednesday morning, it's off to Orlando. At the end of the month, it's off to Austin.
And this weekend was a productive research weekend - we finished another abstract that hopefully will go off to submission for WAGO. At a minimum, it's ready for Downstate Research Day and Julia/Nikki can submit it there and District II. And then we can get started on more projects. :)
