Ran last night late after journal club at around 11:45 pm and I thought it was cold then. Ran this morning before District 2 and it's definitely really cold now!

Just gotta get through tomorrow. Academic time, Clinic, Journal Club. Then it's District II on Friday and dinner with Khan, Jenny and Joyce. More District II on Saturday and dinner with Oggie and whoever from the SB/DS crew that's around. Brunch with Nik on Sunday then home to CT for Dad's echo on Monday.

Tomorrow's a New Day

Chris came in last night and we went out to the new French restaurant around the block. Too much food. Good wine. Nice time. Prior to that, I finally did my grocery shopping, so I have food in the house. Today, I finally made it to Brooklyn Hospital to operate, which was good. Did get to run when it was still light out. Didn't accomplish anything I planned to do after work, but I'm okay with that. Tomorrow's a new day.

Eggos for Dinner
I really need to go grocery shopping. Because Eggos and red wine aren't the best dinner.
Oct 18: ATB - stopped at Prospect Park Deli to pick up coke and chips
Oct 19: ATB - stopped at PPD again to get more coke
Oct 20: ATB - skipped the Deli since I had wine :)
Talked to Ann for a while tonight about her experiences at Downstate and just to get a regular ol' pep talk. An hour and a half later, I'm happy that I did. I always said that the oncologist I most wanted to be like was her. I love Michael and his organization and boom-boom-boom logical way of managing things. I love his honesty with the patients, but I loved Ann's WAY with patients. And I needed someone who understood this f-ed up system I work in and who made it through successfully. :)

Another Week

Haven't been able to motivate for morning runs. Or even during the day runs or even evening twilight runs. I've been running routinely between 8-10 pm. And I can fall right asleep after but I wonder if my sleep is going to be affected in the long run.
And on that note, I'm going to finishing watching hulu in the next 30 minutes and then run around the block.
