I haven't updated this in almost a month. The last post was right before my last OR day with Pearl. Talk about what feels like a long time ago...
I have run every day. I've been in Nicaragua for two weeks, where yesterday I ran my mile in the airport in flip flops. But ran a mile nonetheless. I ran in the mountains of Jalapa and on the roads of San Juan del Sur. I ran in Managua at our hotel the first few nights. But I kept running. And I'll keep running.
And maybe at some point, I'll detail all this running.

Where'd the Time Go?
How is it already the second week of June???
May 30: Ran around apartment complex pre-call
May 31: Ran around apartment complex post-call
June 1: Ran around apartment complex pre-call
June 2: Ran around apartment complex post-call
June 3: Ran in Brooklyn after getting back into my apartment
June 4: Ran around the parking garage pre-operating/partying
June 5: Ran prior to Beth's wedding
June 6: Ran prior to call around the apartment complex - and MOVED OUT
June 7: Ran in Prospect Park after onc clinic and being up some rediculous number of hours
And here we are. Approaching June 8. My last day operating with Pearl. Again.
I think I'll run in the morning.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Sometimes you have to go backwards in life to go forwards.
